Product Update: MK-40 Mer-ko Topcoat
Posted in Product News | June 27, 2023We are excited to announce our improved MK-40 Mer-Ko Topcoat.
This topcoat is a high-performance 100% acrylic water-based coating, that has excellent resistance to weather and dries quickly. MK-40 is designed to be used as the topcoat for Weather Deck and Shur Deck Systems.
Some of the benefits and improvements made to these materials are:
- Enhanced product stability
- Greater ease of mixing
- Better color stability
- Adjusted lower viscosity to help with roller application
- Increased sheen to semi-gloss, for greater ease in cleanability
- Updated Color chart with 5 new colors and 5 discontinued colors
Effective Date
Starting June 26th 2023 or all batch numbers 23177 or later.
Advisory
MK-40 may appear different from previous batches. It is recommended to avoid use with
previous batches, to ensure consistent sheen, color and overall finish.
